Project Monitoring of Solar and Heating Systems

In collaboration with Energie Zukunft Schweiz AG, Transitgas AG strengthens sustainability in its transport area.

LORALARM is a practical monitoring and analysis solution for building technology. The sensor can be easily installed and is connected to a platform.

With monitoring functions, the platform can trigger alarms, such as when the solar system is out of operation. Thanks to the sensor and the associated alarm system, malfunctions in the systems can be quickly detected.

The Offering for the Transitgas AG Transport Region


Through its project funding, Transitgas offers interested parties the opportunity to ensure the proper functioning of thermal solar systems at reduced costs. The offering is targeted towards municipalities, administrations, and property owners within the transit area of Transitgas AG.

It includes the LORALARM sensor with installation on the solar line in the basement, as well as a one-time on-site maintenance of the system. In case of malfunctions, Energie Zukunft Schweiz, the operator of the monitoring system, is promptly notified. This way, malfunctions can be detected and resolved, saving costs and reducing CO₂ emissions.

The municipality of Blauen is situated on a terrace on the southern slope of the Blauen hill range in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Besides village development, the municipality’s development objectives strongly focus on ecological energy policies and sustainable use of natural resources. This is exemplified, for instance, by the solar system installed on the primary school’s roof. Since May 2023, this system has been monitored by LORALARM.


Reducing Energy Costs with LORALARM

The LORALARM project was selected by Transitgas AG through a criteria-based process. The direct relevance to Transitgas AG’s transport region and the practical and effective application of monitoring were decisive factors. Transitgas AG places a special emphasis on supporting projects that contribute to CO₂ emission reduction.
