E.ON Global Commodities SE E.ON Global Commodities SE (EGC), Dusseldorf, has a 3% stake in the share capital of Transitgas AG. E.ON Global Commodities is the energy trading business of E.ON , one of the world’s largest investor owned power and gas companies. As the commercial interface between E.ON and the international wholesale energy markets, it buys and sells electricity, emissions certificates, natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), coal and freight. Furthermore E.ON Global Commodities provides tailored solutions to manage earnings risks caused by variable weather. E.ON Global Commodities is focused on helping E.ON maximize the value of its diverse and flexible power and gas portfolio by operating as the Group’s centre of expertise for asset optimization, commodity price risk management and wholesale market access. E.ON Global Commodities also owns and manages a gas pipeline infrastructure business, which has stakes in more than 2,000 kilometres of gas pipelines, and one of Europe’s leading gas storage businesses. E.ON Global Commodities has more than 1,000 dedicated energy professionals based in its Düsseldorf headquarters, as well as a North American trading floor in Chicago and additional offices in Essen, Coventry, Rome, Terni, Singapore, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Baku, Doha and Dubai. Furthermore regional dispatch services are provided in Malmö, and Sundsvall, Sweden, Saint-Avold, France and Rotterdam.
