The pipeline system currently comprises 48”*-pipelines (131.7 km) and 36”-pipelines (160.7 km) with pipe wall thickness between 11.9 and 35.3 mm. The pipeline crosses central Switzerland and the Alps from north to south and is connected to the French natural gas network in the west
